With its history dating back to the foundation of the Republic, Silkar holding is one of the most prestigious companies in Turkey. Carnying out its commercial activities under the holding structure since 1976, Silkar Holding A.Ş is today leading many sectors, particularly agricultural and industrial equipment, automotive spare parts, natural granite and marble. Since 1860’s, Silkar Holding has been renewing itself in accordance with the dynamics of the market and new business models. Silkar Holding was having difficulty in managing its processes effectively because of the closed circuit conventional ERP system they were using. The necessities of the age and the new generation communication needs could not be met with this type of system.

Aiming to better address the markets it provides services and manage its processes more effectively, Silkar Holding decided to adopt a Windows-based system. They met Pargesoft at this point.

Engin Öztürk, IT Manager of Silkar Holding A.Ş. stated that they start working with Pargesoft in their transition from local system to Microsoft ERP, and continued: “Microsoft’s ERP and CRM solution portfolio offers an open source infrastructure. This allows making all kinds of upgrades and customizations on the system. We are using services of Pargesoft for developments specific to the sectors we provide service to.

Following ERP transformation, the second phase was to improve Customer Relations Management (CRM) processes. Silkar Holding chose Pargesoft also for this project. Öztürk stated that they worked in an harmonious collaboration with their solution partner, and said: “We achieved positive results as a result of the studies we conducted for ERP. We are glad that we chose Pargesoft. For this reason, we are getting consultancy service from Pargesoft also for the development and implementation phases of CRM.”

Öztürk explained that they needed to improve their customer relations management processes in accordance with the specific requirements of their sector, and continued: “We are a company that focuses on automotive and natural stone sectors. We have so many customers, and we think that customer tracking works will be managed more effectively with CRM.”

As a result of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM integration project completed with the solution partnership of Pargesoft, Silkar Holding is now managing its customer portfolio in different markets more efficiently and effectively on a central infrastructure.
